VTC Bad Plating by Larry E. Yerkes is a free distorted display font with bulky, ragged capitals. Deep notches and torn edges make the strokes look roughly cut or badly corroded. The silhouette is loud and uneven.

It is strongest on horror posters, punk album covers, and game title cards, where the damaged lettering can become part of the artwork. The repeated tooth-like cuts echo claws, static, and ripped paper, matching creature themes and gritty entertainment graphics.
