The Matmos by Margaret Nichol of FontStruct is a free cross-stitch display font built from rows of small, linked X shapes. Its simple letterforms retain rounded curves, but the repeated needlework motif gives every stroke a crisp, patterned texture.
A craft shop or textile label could use it to echo embroidery without relying on a separate illustration. The same stitched construction also suits sewing-kit packaging, workshop posters, and digital graphics for handmade goods, with lettering that becomes part of the decorative pattern.
