RM New Albion by Ray Meadows of FontStruct is a free blackletter font with the sharp, formal bearing of medieval manuscript lettering. Broad vertical strokes meet fine hairlines, forked points, and curling flourishes at the edges. The silhouette is ornate and strongly angular.

Designers working in fantasy, historical entertainment, or heavy metal will find it suited to posters, game graphics, and album covers, where the pointed forms can echo crests, weapons, and carved ornament. Its most convincing role is a theatrical title that needs the authority of ceremonial lettering.
