R-2014 Eroded by Måns Grebäck is a free eroded techno display font with broad, rounded letterforms and a machine-cut silhouette. Deep vertical scuffs break through the strokes in uneven clusters. The repeated damage gives the lettering a harsh industrial surface.
Its scraped texture can echo distressed photography and corroded metal graphics in music packaging and game artwork. Posters and event branding gain a convincing dystopian edge from the wide proportions and segmented curves, which recall damaged electronic signage. This is aimed squarely at designers working with industrial science fiction, heavy music, and post-apocalyptic entertainment.
