Oz's Wizard Scarecrow is a free old-school decorative serif with theatrical, sharply exaggerated forms. Tall letters mix hairline strokes with broad wedges, rounded bulges, and sudden pointed cuts. The uneven silhouettes make the alphabet look fanciful and slightly uncanny.
It can shift between storybook publishing and stage entertainment because its eccentric shapes suggest both printed folklore and handmade scenery. Posters, book covers, and event graphics gain a Wizard of Oz flavor from the crooked proportions. In editorial design, it is best suited to titles that introduce offbeat stories.
