Ice Sans Bold, designed by Wolf Lambert in 2012, is a free comic display font with tall, uneven letters and a chunky cut-paper look. Its blunt corners and gently wobbling contours keep the forms lively.
It is especially well suited to children's book covers, animated title cards, and playful game graphics, where the irregular shapes suggest lettering made by hand. Candy packaging and casual food branding can use the same soft, upright silhouette for a cheerful shop-sign quality. Rounded character illustrations and simple paper-cut scenes echo its lumpy edges, so the words can function as part of the artwork.
