Ekushey Puja es una tipografía serif gratuita de estilo clásico (old-style) con un aire literario, propio de las publicaciones bengalíes. Sus letras combinan un fuerte contraste con remates nítidos y ligeramente formales, mientras que sus minúsculas redondeadas aportan una textura más cálida y menos severa que la de una romana académica.
Resulta ideal para carteles culturales, portadas de libros, titulares de revistas, programas de festivales y páginas editoriales, donde una fuente gratuita con esta mezcla de ceremonia y suavidad puede sostener un encabezado sin volverse rígida. También es perfecta para citas destacadas o letras capitales, ya que el ritmo marcado de sus serifas dota incluso a unas pocas letras de una presencia impresa, con un carácter claramente editorial.
