Droeming by The Fontry is a free rough brush display font with the look of quickly painted lettering. Its changing stroke widths, blunt edges, and uneven letter shapes give the line an offbeat, handmade silhouette. The rounded forms keep the roughness friendly.

Loose ink drawings and comic illustrations share its irregular brushwork, making it a good fit for music posters, children's book covers, and playful food packaging. That wobbling contour can become part of the artwork itself, echoing sketchy characters or hand-painted signs rather than acting as neutral type.

Droeming is a font created as an experiment in scrawl font technique. It was drawn by hand with a very small brush and a few drams of India ink, then scanned and vectorized. It includes kerning for more than 7,000 pairs and is associated with a story of approximately 26,000 words.
